The Arbitration Centre at the RSPP has concluded cooperation agreements with a number of leading foreign arbitral institutions as a part of its international activity development strategy. Support and assistance to foreign colleagues is also provided outside the scope of such agreements.

For instance, last autumn the oral hearings of the case of the Arbitration Institute of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce, where Moscow was chosen as a seat of arbitration, were held in the premises of the Arbitration Centre at the RSPP. In addition to the hearing room, the parties’ representatives were also provided with two meeting rooms and other organizational and technical assistance in connection with the arbitration.

This week, the Arbitration Centre at the RSPP accepted for safe keeping the arbitration case files, which were finalized after the award was made and delivered.

Both arbitrators and parties noted the excellent support provided by the Administration of the Arbitration Centre at the RSPP and expressed their gratitude to its staff. Such cooperation once again confirms the high professional reputation of the Arbitration Centre at the RSPP not only in Russia, but also abroad.

The resolution of cross-border disputes has become one of the important areas of the Arbitration Centre activity. The Arbitration Centre has recently established a Panel for International and Investment Disputes, arbitrators of which have already considered two international commercial disputes since early 2020.

Despite the continuing "turbulence" of the world’s economy associated with the spread of Covid-19 and severe decrease in oil prices, the Arbitration Centre at the RSPP continues to work and can offer the parties convenient conditions for the resolution of their disputes, including those conducted through video-conference or in a documents-only procedure.
