On December 18, a video conference 2019 UNCITRAL Asia-Pacific Day was held in Vladivostok at the FEFU School of Law, dedicated to issues of international trade law and commercial law, in honor of the adoption of the historic resolution of the UN General Assembly of December 17, 1966, approving the creation of the UN Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL).

Ms. Athita Komindr, Head of UNCITRAL RCAP, made a presentation on the activities of UNCITRAL and its Regional Centre for Asia and the Pacific.  UNCITRAL RCAP legal experts Min-Jung Kim and Alyssa Lau briefed on UNCITRAL work on e-commerce and the digital economy.

Natalia Prisekina, Head of the Far Eastern Branch of the Arbitration Centre at the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, addressed the participants in a video conference on the practice of the Arbitration Center at the RSPP for the settlement of disputes using UNCITRAL rules.
