In 2024, the Arbitration Centre at the RSPP accepted 528 statements of claim totaling over RUB 101.8 billion, which is a record index in its history.

The main category consisted of disputes arising out of sales agreements (58.9%), construction agreements (24.8%), service contracts (7%), loan and credit agreements and (or) related secured transactions (5%), as well as independent (bank) guarantees (1.5%). Other types of disputes included financial and exchange trading disputes, carriage of goods agreements disputes (maritime freight), intellectual property disputes and those arising out of lease agreements (including affreightment), storage agreements and insurance contracts, as well as a corporate dispute (under Arbitration rules for corporate disputes).

The number of international commercial arbitration disputes has increased – 16 statements of claim involving parties from 10 jurisdictions were received this year.

Overall, 535 cases were completed in 2024. 243 cases were heard online, and in 116 cases the parties agreed on expedited (simplified) arbitration without oral hearings. 77 cases were settled by making a settlement agreement.

The regional offices of the Arbitration Centre at the RSPP demonstrated positive dynamics in 2024, having participated in the administration of 200 proceedings.
