Arbitration debate is a platform created to discuss the most relevant court decisions and practical issues in the field of arbitration. This project was launched in February 2016. Now it is realized with the general support and on the basis of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, and, in particular, the RSPP Committee on Property and the Judicial System, chaired by a famous Russian businessman, Mikhail Fridman.
When choosing topics for debate, preference is given to problems assuming several different approaches. The list of relevant questions includes the analysis of case-law (landmark) judicial acts; reports on interesting innovations or problems in the administration of arbitration; discussion of controversial provisions of the law on arbitration.
The scope of the event involves the participation of a wide range of experts in the field of arbitration with several predefined speakers who express opposing points of view: one presents all possible arguments in favour of the thesis being discussed, the other against it. After that, other participants join the discussion and share their own opinion.
Everyone is invited to participate in the Arbitration Debate - practising lawyers, representatives of public authorities and of a business community, scientists, teachers, post-graduates, students!
