
The Arbitration Centre at the RSPP is an independent body functioning within the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RSPP). The Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RSPP) is a non-political organisation established in June 1990.
The President of the RSPP, Alexander Shokhin, is a cavalier of the Order "For Merit to the Fatherland" and a recipient of the highest French order of merit for military and civil merits The Legion of Honour.
The RSPP is the largest representative of interests of Russian business within the country and abroad. The RSPP today brings together about 130 associations of employers from all main sectors of the economy. Its members include such leading companies as: Aeroflot, EUROCEMENT group, EVRAZ, Knauf Service, Mechel, MegaFon, Metalloinvest, Norilsk Nickel Group, Russian Railways, RusHydro, Severstal, TATNEFT, Transmashholding, VTB Bank, and many others.
The RSPP’ priority is to ensure fair and competitive trading and investment conditions for Russian business through the WTO tools, the Business 20 mechanisms (B20) and the Business and Industry Advisory Committee to the OECD (BIAC).
The RSPP consistently strengthens cooperation with leading business associations in Europe, Asia, Africa, North and South America. The Union actively participates in integration processes across the CIS countries. In 2018 the RSPP chaired the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) Business Council Board.
The RSPP as an association of employers has the advantage of formalized mechanisms of cooperation with governmental authorities through Russian Trilateral Commission on the Regulation of Social and Labour Relations.
The RSPP is the only organisation in Russia that represents interests of all Russian businesses irrespective of size, sector or location of companies.
